So he reams her out and demands that it never happens again.Robin, David's fiancé, arrives home 3 minutes late. David is disgusted at her lack of timeliness and gives her a tongue lashing. He gives her an ultimatum of getting married by his birthday or she must move out of his house.Struggling with her mixed feelings for David and his controlling ways, Robin is caught by David and her best friend Jill in a compromising physical situation with Jill's fiancé Isaac. Jill is in disbelief and throws her engagement ring at Isaac as she calls of the engagement. David loses his temper, gets physical with Robin and Isaac. In his fury, David calls off their wedding and later with premeditation kills Isaac.Rebounding quickly from the failed relationship with Robin, David takes Tina (his secretary's cousin) on his previously scheduled "honeymoon" and quickly begins a relationship with her.Robin shortly thereafter finds out that she is pregnant with David's child. But David will not have anything to do with her. He doesn't believe the child is his baby. Therefore Robin is forced to resort to DNA testing to establish paternity. But David has plans of his own to circumvent accurate results.Throughout the course of David and Tina's relationship, David's insecurities and jealous tendencies escalate to an uncontrollable level. Tina is forced to deal with David's violent physical outbursts toward her.Robin realizes that David has somehow influenced the paternity test. So she attempts to extract another sample of his DNA without his knowledge.During the pursuit of the true paternity results of Robin's child, David's DNA is simultaneously linked to Isaac's murder by the Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) network.
