After the death of his mother, Sebastian becomes reclusive as he ponders the secret legacy she has left him. It's a family secret that his brother and father have known since Sebastian's birth and they do what they can to support him. However, Sebastian's brother, Doug, becomes impatient with Sebastian's behavior and presses Sebastian to regain his fervor for life. Along comes Arianna, an attractive, ambitious college classmate, who with some prodding by her friends, pursues Sebastian only to find him resistant. Her persistence is rewarded when Sebastian acquiesces and agrees to study with her. When an unfortunate incident occurs, the two are further drawn together and Sebastian slowly lets down his guard.Sebastian is torn as his affection for Arianna and his despair over whether to share with her his secret, conflicts. His internal angst becomes, will she accept him if he tells the truth?
