Two angels, disguised as homeless women, who have been sent to test the humanity in mankind by their treatment of the homeless. Destiny, a prophetic angel, spends much of her time mentoring her prot?g?', Seven, in order to prepare her to take over her mission. Destiny demonstrates the multiple personalities of homelessness as she channels characters such as an elderly Spanish immigrant, a bankrupt Hollywood diva, a male engineer turned druggie, and a woman suffering from major depression to intercede the lives of four passersby (a medical researcher, a former child television star, a star university basketball player, and proud new parents). Each person she meets faces a different task. Destiny appeals to their ego, intellect, sensitivity, and fear while asking for directions, time, money, and clothing. Although 'The Book' reveals each person's predetermined destiny; their choice is paramount to either altering or securing that destiny; understanding that the wrong choice can reverse a good destiny as much as a good choice can reverse a bad one. What will they choose? Over 3.5 million people are reported to experiences homelessness each year. Homeless Destiny examines society's views and stereotypes on homelessness and explores the philosophy that true character is measured by how you treat someone who can never reciprocate that kindness. Homeless Destiny challenges the audience to practice random acts of kindness, look beyond outward appearances and ask the question, 'What if God was one of us, and if so, what if 'us' was homeless?'
